Evapotranspiração do pimentão em estufa plástica estimada com dados meteorológicos externos, na primavera

Abstract

R ESU M ONeste trabalho o objetivo foi gerar e testar modelos matemáticos para a estimativa da evapotranspiração máxima para a cultura do pimentão, com variáveis meteorológicas medidas no exterior de estufa, na primavera, em Santa Maria, RS. Dois experimentos foram conduzidos, um no ano de 2005 e outro em 2006, visando à geração e aos testes dos modelos, respectivamente. A evapotranspiração foi medida em três lisímetros de drenagem e um lisímetro de balança. Foram feitas medições semanais da altura de plantas, do número de folhas e da área foliar. Os valores diários das variáveis meteorológicas externas foram obtidos na Estação Meteorológica Principal de Santa Maria, concluindo-se ser possível estimar, com precisão aceitável e em nível diário, a evapotranspiração máxima da cultura do pimentão em estufa, na primavera, com modelos matemáticos que utilizam variáveis medidas no exterior da estufa. O déficit de saturação do ar médio diário, a radiação solar global, o saldo de radiação e a evapotranspiração de referência medidos no exterior da estufa, foram as variáveis que apresentaram os melhores resultados na estimativa da evapotranspiração máxima da cultura do pimentão na primavera em estufa plástica. Palavras-chave: Capsicum annuum L., modelos, radiaçãoEvapotranspiration cultivated in greenhouse of sweet pepper estimated with outside meteorology data in spring season A B ST R A C T The objective of this work was to develop, test and validate mathematical models for maximum evapotranspiration estimations of a sweet pepper crop using meteorological variables measured outside the greenhouse, in Santa Maria, RS. Two experiments were conducted during spring of 2005 and 2006, for data collection, respectively for development and testing of models. The maximum evapotranspiration was measured using three drainage and one weighting lysimeter. Plant height, number of leaves and leaf area were weekly determined. The daily values of meteorological variables were obtained at the main Meteorological Station of Santa Maria. It is possible to estimate the maximum evapotranspiration of sweet pepper crop grown inside greenhouses during the spring with mathematical models that use various external measurements. Better estimations of maximum evapotranspiration of sweet pepper crop grown inside plastic greenhouse during the spring were obtained using meteorological variables, mean vapor pressure deficit, solar radiation, net radiation and reference evapotranspiration, measured outside the greenhouse. It was concluded that it is possible to estimate, with acceptable accuracy at daily level, the maximum crop evapotranspiration of sweet pepper grown in greenhouse in spring, using complex mathematical models that use meteorological variables measured outside the greenhouse.
