Violence prevention and health promotion

Abstract: The authors choose a convenient moment for bringing up the discussion of a subject rarely presented in the literature: violence against people with disability. The article fits well with the recommendations of the Brazilian Policy of Reduction of Morbidity/Mortality by Accidents and Violence 1 , which introduced the issue of violence in connection with health promotion.
