Abstract: RESUMODalbergia nigra (Vell.) Allemao ex Benth. (jacarandá-da-bahia), espécie de alto valor econômico pela qualidade da madeira e potencial ornamental em razão da copa bem formada e à delicadeza da folhagem, está na lista de espécies ameaçadas de extinção.
