Show more

“…Afterwards, conversion of processed coffee.ha -1 (into units of 60kg sacks) was done by value approximation, considering an average yield of 480L of "farm coffee" for each 60kg processed coffee sack (CARVALHO et al, 2009). The percentage of cherry fruit was calculated by counting in a sample of 300mL of fruit per plot.…”

“…The productivity of the 2009/2010 biennium concerning the harvest totals for 2009 and 2010 and the 2011/2012 biennium concerning the harvest totals for 2011 and 2012 were evaluated, totaling 4 harvests, between May and July. The volume of harvested coffee cherries was transformed to benefit bags/ha using the scale of 480 L coffee cherries per 60-kg sack (Carvalho et al, 2009). The 25 genotypes were evaluated using a spacing of 2.5 x 0.8 m with random blocks and 5 plots with 8 plants per plot.…”

“…Subsequently, the yield was converted into yield of 60 kg bags of green coffee per hectare (bags ha -1 ). This conversion was carried out by approximating the values, considering mean yield of 480 liters of freshly harvested coffee for each bag of 60 kg processed coffee (Carvalho et al 2009). During analyses, mean yield (bags ha -1 ) per biennium was considered, which was obtained by the mean of two consecutive harvests.…”
