Abstract: RESUMOA moringa (Moringa oleifera Lam.; Moringaceae), espécie perene originária do noroeste indiano, que se adapta tanto às condições irrigadas quanto às de sequeiro, pouco exigente em solos e fertilizantes, encontra-se disseminada na região nordeste, particularmente no Ceará, graças à sua utilização na clarificação de águas turvas.
