Estimation of infiltration and inflow due to precipitation in a sewage basin

Abstract: Extraneous flows to sewer networks can occur underground (infiltration) or in the routing of rainwater (inflow). Infiltration in these networks is often inevitable, leading to system overloads and causing overflows.
