Avaliação do aproveitamento de água pluvial para atendimento de uso não potável no Aeroporto Internacional de São Paulo/Guarulhos

Abstract: RESUMOForam avaliados diferentes aspectos relativos à demanda e à oferta de água pluvial para atendimento de usos não potáveis no Aeroporto Internacional ) and the higher water cost scenario, reservoir volumes from 500 to 3,732 m 3 presented efficiencies close to 60% and payback between 3.5 and 7.5 years. For the lower water cost scenario, volumes from 500 to 1,700 m 3 showed payback between 7and 10 years, also considering the maximum daily demand.

“…Among other studies related to this subject such as Moruzzi and Oliveira (2010), Ghisi (2011), Moruzzi, Carvalho andOliveira (2012), Murça, Julio and Moruzzi (2014), Moruzzi et al (2016), Pelak and Porporato (2016) and Rupp, Munarim and Ghisi (2011), the present work adopted the simulation model proposed in Palla, Gnecco and Lanza (2011) and the discard of the first 1 mm of precipitation in order to improve the quality of the water. The work of Murça (2011) shows the efficiency of the first flush discard in the reduction of turbidity levels, color, DBO of RWHS water.…”

“…Many researchers have focused their work on the viability analysis of RWHS in order to define optimal reservoir volume which is recognized as the most expensive component of the RWHS (FEWKES, 2000;CARVALHO;OLIVEIRA, 2012;MURÇA;MORUZZI, 2014;MORUZZI et al, 2016;PELAK;PORPORATO, 2016). These studies differentiate themselves in the following aspects: viability analysis methods, reservoir volume calculation methods, RWHS purposes (potable or non potable uses), RWHS reliability (the RWHS is the only source of water supply or there is a water supply company in the area).…”

“…The collected water can be used in large buildings, for example, in airports (Moruzzi et al, 2016) and in single-family homes (Waso et al, 2020;Moruzzi & Leão, 2019;Strauss, 2018;Bashara et al, 2018, Campisano et al, 2017Chaib, 2015).…”
