Leituras de professoras: a circulação de ideias acerca de arte e educação no Paraná na década de 1960

Abstract

This article investigates the circulation of ideas about art and education during the 1960s among educators responsible for the course Visual arts in education, created by the State Secretariat for Education and Culture of Paraná and aimed at qualifying teachers to implement artistic activities in school groups. More specifically, an analysis is performed on the notes made on a 1959 edition of the book Educación por el arte, by the British philosopher Herbert Read, which once belonged to one of the coordinators of the above-mentioned course, professor Lúcia Rysicz.
