Abstract: The University of São Paulo presently edits around 200 titles; 58 of them are journals accredited by the Accreditation Commission, part of the USP's Scientific and Periodic Publication Support Program / Integrated Library System (SIBI), managed by the rectory. The others are on the USP's Portal of Journals. Only 10 of those are indexed at ISI (Thomson Reuters) and 24 on Scopus. What's the importance of these numbers?
