Gluon dominance model and cluster production

Abstract: Multiparticle production in lepton and hadron processes is studied by means of the Gluon Dominance Model (GDM) which is based on the Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) and phenomenological scheme of hadronization. The model describes the multiplicity distributions and their moments very well. It has revealed an active role of gluons in multiparticle production and confirmed the fragmentation mechanism of hadronization in e + e − annihilation and its change to a recombination mechanism in hadron and nucleus interacti… Show more

“…Reviews of the experimental results and theoretical models have been presented [11,12]. There are models based on the assumption of a cold quark gluon plasma [13], a boostinvariant classical flux tube [14], gluon dominance [15], the Unruh-Davies effect [16], synchrotron radiation in the stochastic nonperturbative QCD vacuum [17], the classical string fragmentation [18], a closed quark-antiquark loop [19], * wongc@ornl.gov and the ADS/CFT Supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory [20]. These different proposed models are useful to indicate that, to search for the source of the anomalous soft photons, it is necessary to go beyond the electromagnetic bremsstrahlung process.…”

“…The phenomenological models gave them the different predictions too. One of them is MGD [7], called a gluon model, second one − quark model [21].…”

“…Only completely an excluding of the valence quark (they are staying in the leading particles), we achieve the considerable improvement of χ 2 , at that, the hadronization parameters become rather more than 1 as in the e + e − annihilation. It indicates the change of mechanism of hadronization: from fragmentation to recombination one [7].…”

“…For description of the topological cross sections at the HM region and their behavior at the tail of the HM prediction, the gluon dominance model has been developed out [10][11][12]. In concordance with this model gluons are the basic sources of secondary As it was noted in the beginning, the HM study hides a lot of unexpected discoveries.…”
