Spectroscopic study of the unbound 11N nucleus

Abstract

The nuclear structure of the unbound 11 N nucleus has been investigated by the 14 N( 3 He, 6 He) 11 N reaction. The energies and widths of the observed states are compared with other measurements. Angular distributions for the first five states are obtained for the first time for this reaction and DWBA analysis confirms the spin assignments for the lowest levels.
