Abstract:A osteocondrite dissecante da cabeça do úmero (OCD) é uma condição patológica da cartilagem articular, decorrente de distúrbio da ossificação endocondral. Foram analisados 36 casos de OCD em cães com idades compreendidas entre 5 e 24 meses, observando-se maior representação entre machos comparados com fêmeas (3,5:1).
