Agriculture must find new ways to reduce costs and increase efficiency to meet the rising demand for products, avoiding waste due to potential food scarcity. Through the systematic literature review methodology, this study analyzes and synthesizes the existing literature on lean manufacturing (LM) applied in agro-pastoral production, its impact on reduction in losses and waste, and productivity increases considering production function mechanism (PFM), connecting to a sustainability model based on triple bottom line (TBL). A comprehensive search strategy was used to identify relevant studies and critically evaluate them using pre-determined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The findings provide insights into LM applied in agro-pastoral production and inform future research in the field, highlighting the potential of using LM concepts by reducing losses and waste and increasing productivity. The potential for TBL impacts from application of lean concepts in agro-pastoral production suggests a tendency for growth in this area of research. A theoretical understanding of how lean tools and techniques can be applied to improve productivity and profitability in the agricultural sector is provided, as well as practical examples and recommendations for implementing lean practices in agricultural operations, aligning sustainability and LP tools and concepts.

El objetivo del artículo es diseñar e implementar un procedimiento que integre herramientas de control de gestión con enfoque de procesos, que contribuya a mejorar la eficiencia y la eficacia de la gestión empresarial. Se lleva a cabo un estudio experimental donde se define un procedimiento, basado en un cuadro de mando integral, que integra la gestión por procesos desde la planeación estratégica y su evaluación. Como resultados del trabajo se definen los factores clave de éxito de la empresa asociados a las cuatro perspectivas del cuadro de mando integral las cuales se enlazan a través de relaciones causa-efecto y se obtiene el mapa estratégico que permite visualizar y comunicar la estrategia de la empresa. Los indicadores para medir la actuación de los factores claves de éxito se integran con los procesos y se evalúan con la asistencia de un software. Con la implementación del procedimiento en una empresa comercializadora, se integró la definición de los procesos desde la propia planificación estratégica, se evaluó su alineamiento, y los indicadores de eficiencia y eficacia evaluados mejoraron su desempeño.

Paper aims: This study aimed to analyze how the satisfaction level of public transport (PT) users is influenced by their socioeconomic characteristics. Originality:The analysis of how socioeconomic variables influence the satisfaction level through the association between MANOVA and exploratory analysis is still not explored, especially in Brazil and in medium-sized cities, which represent the majority of Brazilian cities.Research method: Data collection was carried out by questionnaire in a Brazilian city. The 330 users of PT evaluated their satisfaction level concerning 12 quality indicators. Statistical analyses were performed using Pearson's correlation and MANOVA.Main findings: Most socioeconomic variables influenced user satisfaction in at least one indicator, gender and schooling being the most prominent. The results showed that women's mean level of satisfaction is lower than men's concerning indicators affected by gender. Fare was the indicator with the worst score, being influenced by users' occupation. Implications for theory and practice:The study presents practical and methodological contributions. The results provides technical and scientific subsidies for public policies and service improvement. It possible to improve each indicator according to the users' socioeconomic characteristics, encouraging the use of PT and contributing to the urban environment sustainability.
