Pharmacokinetic profile of liposome-encapsulated ropivacaine after maxillary infiltration anaesthesia

A quantif… Show more

“…No differences were observed between the formulations regarding Cmax, Tmax, AUC 0–t , AUC 0–∞ , t 1/2 and plasma ropivacaine concentrations. Similarly to Franz‐Montan et al ., [27] our study showed that the pharmacokinetics of 2% liposome‐encapsulated MVC are comparable to those of MVC plus epinephrine. These similar results could be explained by the use of the same route of administration and the same kind of liposomes.…”

“…(2010) [23] and Franz‐Montan et al . (2010) [27] studied the pharmacokinetics of liposomal formulations of bupivacaine and ropivacaine in volunteers and the same pattern of slow release with liposomal formulations was observed. Franz‐Montan et al .…”

“…Nestes casos, a principal estratégia é a incorporação do fármaco em lipossomas (FRANZ-MONTAN et al, 2007, 2010a, 2010b, 2012ZAGO et al, 2011);, partículas poliméricas de escala micro ou nanométrica, veiculadas na forma injetável (JUG et al, 2010;MORAES et al, 2009aMORAES et al, , 2009b (KOHDA et al, 1997;TAWARE et al, 1997;YAMAMURA et al, 1997;OKAMOTO et al, 2002;REPKA et al, 2005;ABU-HUWAIJ;ASSAF, 2007;ABU-HUWAIJ et al, 2007;VARSHOSAZ;KARIMZADEH, 2007;ARAUJO et al, 2010;CAVALLARI;FINI;OSPITALI, 2013;PREIS et al, 2014 YEOMAN, 2004;GIANNOLA et al, 2007;THAKUR;MICHNIAK;MEIDAN, 2007;KIJEŃSKA;CIACH, 2009;CAMPISI et al, 2010;MOSCICKA-STUDZINSKA, 2011;HU et al, 2011aHU et al, , 2011bOH et al, 2011;WEI et al, 2012). Nestes casos, as avaliações foram realizadas utilizando hidrogéis poliméricos mucoadesivos ou soluções aquosas contendo o fármaco, de modo que nunca antes foi investigada a possibilidade de sua aplicação em filmes.…”
