In situ measurement of trace metals in estuarine waters of Patos Lagoon using diffusive gradients in thin films (DGT)

Abstract: A técnica de gradiente difusivo de membrana (DGT) foi utilizada para determinar metais lábeis in situ durante diferentes condições hidrológicas no estuário da Lagoa dos Patos. As amostras de água foram também analisadas para a fração lábil-Chelex para Cd, Co, Cu, Mn, Ni e Zn usando resina Chelex-100. “…It has still been used in the water to check the evolution of labile concentrations of some metals in the areas around the city. Taking into account the elements under analysis (Cd, Co, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn), Cd, Cu and Pb showed higher bioavailability in the water of two locations in the marinas north of the city, when compared with the less urbanized site, the Marinheiros Island (Wallner-Kersanach et al, 2009).
