Editorial Brazilian Chemistry shows its face!2005 was a very successful year for Brazilian Chemistry. Thus, from the academic as well as the industrial point of view, it is certainly worthwhile to highlight a few points. The data also indicate how robust the Brazilian chemical sector is, in view of the important investments predict for 2006 for the sectors of commodities and fine chemistry (specialty chemicals).
