Sedative and clinical effects of the pharmacopuncture with xylazine in dogs

Abstract: Pharmacopuncture with xylazine induced clinically relevant sedative effects in dogs, with the advantage of reduction of undesirable side effects associated with α2-agonists, including bradycardia, cardiac arrhythmias, and emesis.
