Abstract

In August the 16th World Congress of the World Society of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons took place in Ottawa, Canada. Sixty-five countries were represented with a total of 1100 abstracts and 736 works presented. Brazilian heart surgery was represented by several surgeons who presented a total of 20 articles.
