Show more

“…The use of sugarcane cake did not benefit the growth of neem seedlings, but root mycorrhizal colonization in this treatment was similar to that recorded in the others. Similar results were obtained by other authors, who also observed no correlation between the rate of mycorrhizal colonization and increase in seedling growth 30, 31…”

“…It is possible that the duration of the experiment (90 days) did not provide enough time for greater production of glomerospores. Low AMF sporulation was also observed in the rhizosphere of A. purpurata and Z. spectabile seedlings inoculated with G. albida, G. etunicatum and F. heterogama 30…”

“…No mycorrhizal benefits were observed in the acclimatization experiment (100 days), which used the same soil and AMF isolates (Silva et al, 2006). However, in this experiment (evaluated after 270 days), inoculation with A. longula and C. etunicatum benefited the host plant to a greater extent than did the non-inoculated treatment.…”
