Estrutura foliar de espécies de Aechmea Ruiz & Pav. (Bromeliaceae) do Estado de São Paulo, Brasil

Abstract: O estudo da estrutura foliar de Aechmea bromeliifolia (Rudge) Baker, A. distichantha Lem., A. ornata Baker, A. nudicaulis (L.) Griseb., A. pectinata Baker, A. coelestis (K. Koch) E. Morren, A. cylindrata Lindm. e A. gracilis Lindm. mostrou que, em todas as espécies, as folhas são hipoestomáticas e revestidas por células epidérmicas de paredes sinuosas e portadoras de corpos silicosos.
