Abstract:O tango (Solidago canadensis),originário da América do Norte, da família Asteraceae, é uma planta ornamental herbácea, rizomatosa, perene, pouco ramificada, que alcança de 0,8 a 1,2 m de altura. Apresenta inflorescên-cias verde-amarelas terminais grandes, eretas, ramificadas, com numerosos capítulos pequenos.
