Uma nova espécie de Euplusia da Bahia, Brasil (Hymenoptera, Apoidea, Euglossinae)

Abstract: ABSTRACT. A new species oI' Ellplllsia from Bahia, Brazil (Hymenoptera, Apoidea, Euglossinae). El/pll/sia aridicola sp. n., a member oI' lhe short tongued group, is described as a new species. It can be easily recognized by lhe large while yellowish pubescence on lhe sides oflerga second lo fourth, lhe bright anterior halfof mesosculum covered by yellowish hairs; cJypeus medially bicarinale. The hololype was colleled in Ibiraba, Barra, a semi-arid region 01' Bahia, Brazil, using eucalyplol, as an atlraclanl.
