Abstract: ABSTRACT. GiIl arch surface morphology and ultrastructure of juvenile Mugil plalallus Günther (Pisces, Mugilidae). Seanning eleetron mieroseopy revealed that lhe gill arch surfaee from juveniles of Mugil pla/anus Günther, 1880 is similar to Ihat reported for others euryhaline teleosts.
