A new species of Brachygasterina Macquart from Chile (Diptera: Muscidae)

These characters are found in Brachygasterina Macquart, 1851, and the strongly dilated antenna is synapomorphic for this genus (CARVALHO 1989;CARVALHO & COURI 2002). Therefore, this species is herein transferred from Palpibracus to Brachygasterina.…”
