This study analyzed how a story for children related to AIDS contributed to the understanding of the health-disease process of children with HIV. It was conducted at the Pediatric Clinic in Porto Alegre/RS from May to December 2011. The participants were five children aged between seven and nine years and their caregivers. The data were collected by a focal group through interviews and submitted to thematic content analysis. Two categories were found: identification with the story, relationship with the health-disease process, understanding of the story, and the health-disease process. The results demonstrated that stories for children are resources to talk about the health-disease process with children without revealing the diagnosis, leading them to understand their situation and the importance of treatment. We considered that this resource may be a strategy to help the caregivers and health professionals to initiate the process of revelation of diagnosis.

RESUMENVinculación entre formas de intervención en la ciudad y procesos de apropiación socio-espaciales en el Centro Histórico de Puebla. Analizaremos casuísticas concretas de desposesión-apropiación espacial que ahondan en las desigualdades sociales. Con todo ello, pretendemos constatar la relación entre el uso que se hace del Centro Histórico y la apropiación social de clase de que está siendo objeto.Palabras clave: Centros Históricos, Patrimonio Urbano, Renovación Urbana. RESUMOLigando formas de intervenção na cidade e processos de apropriação socioespacial no centro histórico de Puebla. Discutimos o número de casos específicos de espaço desapropriação - apropriadora que mergulhar em desigualdades sociais . Com tudo isso , pretende-se verificar a relação entre a utilização do Centro Histórico e classe apropriação social que é o assunto. RESUMENTegucigalpa fue establecida a finales del siglo XVI, convertida en capital en 1880 y en el Distrito Central ‒Tegucigalpa y Comayagüela‒en 1937. Su Centro Histórico cubre unos 1.8 km², segmentado por el río Choluteca. No obstante la obsolescencia funcional de un buen número de edificaciones, el Centro Histórico mantiene su valor emblemático en el imaginario colectivo como bastión de identidad, ciudad histórica y sede del gobierno central. Si bien la ciudadanía reconoce la pérdida de espacios públicos, la notoria falta de voluntad política de las autoridades priva a la sociedad civil de interlocutores válidos. Bajo estas circunstancias es urgente forjar el vínculo de la generación joven con su Centro Histórico.Palabras claves: Centro Histórico, imaginario colectivo, espacios públicos RESUMOTegucigalpa, estabelecida no final do século XVI, tornou-se a capital de Honduras em 1880 e o Distrito Central-Tegucigalpa e Comayagüela-em 1937. O centro histórico abrange uma área de 1,8 km² do total, e é cortado pelo Rio Choluteca. No entanto, apesar de manter seu valor emblemático e simbólico no imaginário coletivo, como mito construtor da identidade, da historicidade da região e da sede do governo central, ele é marcado pela obsolescência de muitos edifícios. As ações do governo local revelam a falta de a vontade política para revitalizar o centro, o que tem privado a sociedade civil de interlocutores válidos. Diante dessas circunstâncias, torna-se urgente formar vínculos das gerações mais jovens com sua Centro Histórico.Palavras-chave: Centro histórico; imaginário coletivo; espaços públicos ABSTRACTTegucigalpa, founded at the end of the XVIth Century, became the capital city in 1880, and the Central District –Tegucigalpa and Comayagüela- in 1937. Its Historic Center extends over some 1.8 km², segmented by the Choluteca River. In spite of the functional obsolescence of a good number of buildings, the Historic City Center retains its emblematic value in the collective imagery as an identity stronghold, historic town and the seat of the central government. Although the citizenry recognizes the loss of public spaces, the lack of political will from decisions makers deprives civil society of valid dialogue partners. Under these circumstances, it is urgent to forge a stronger link between the younger generations and their Historic Center.Key words: Historic Center, collective imagery, public spaces
