Editorial

Abstract: She obtained her Master degree in Food Technology (1981) and PhD (2000) in Food Science from the University of Campinas. Dr. Jane dedicated more than thirty years to the Science and Food Technology in Brazil and certainly left a legacy to be preserved, especially in Technology of Oils and Fats. At present, she was researcher at Embrapa Mid-North-Teresina/PI, where she passed away.
