Orange rust in sugarcane: molecular identification in Rio de Janeiro State

Abstract: Sugarcane (Saccharum spp.) cultivation is one of the major agricultural activities in the Brazilian states. This study aimed to molecularly identify the pathogen associated with rust in sugarcane cultivars in the state of Rio de Janeiro and to suggest a control strategy.
