“…Six plants, one green alga and five aquatic plants, have been collected from the ''Blau-Blau'' marsh, and analyzed for their 210 Po content. The results that have been published recently (Kelecom et al 1999) are reproduced and complemented in Table I. The alga showed elevated concentrations of 210 Po, similar to those observed for marine algae.…”

“…The unexpected high concentrations of 210 Po in the roots must be due to the elevated level of this radionuclide in associated soils. For a deeper discussion about the significance of these results, see Kelecom et al (1999).…”

“…Os resultados aparecem na Tabela 1 e indicam que os altos teores de 210 Po estão relacionados principalmente com o teor do radionuclídeo no solo, podendo essas plantas servirem de bioindicador da contaminação radioativa do solo. Esse dado não deixa de ser surpreendente pois sabe-se que o polônio está normalmente associado com a coluna d'água (Kelecom et al, 1999). O levantamento da literatura permitiu esboçar seu perfil químico do gênero Clusia.…”

“…With the aim to find the active constituents from this medicinal plant, a bioassay‐guided phytochemical investigation was performed, and 10 compounds had been isolated from it. As a continuation of the study on this plant, three new abietane diterpenoids, named atriplicones A–C ( 1–3 ) (Figure ) were obtained, together with five known compounds rosmaqunione B ( 4 ), arucatriol ( 5 ), 6β‐hydroxycarnosol ( 6 ), galdosol ( 7 ), and rosmadial ( 8 ) . The structures of new compounds were determined by detailed analyses of the mass spectrometry MS, ultraviolet and infrared (UV, IR), and 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy.…”
