Vidros recobertos com camadas delgadas transparentes de SnO2

Abstract: Recebido em 2/12/96; aceito em 2/6/97 GLASSES COATED WITH TRANSPARENT THIN LAYERS OF SnO 2 . SnO 2 thin layers, prepared from aqueous colloidal suspensions by the sol-gel process, have been dip-coated on commercial borosilicate glasses. The effect of the conditions of deposition on the optical and structural characteristics of the thin layers was analysed by UV-Vis spectroscopy, x-ray reflectometry and electron scanning microscopy. Layers prepared with withdrawal speed in between 0.1 and 10cm/min show thicknes… Show more

“…The decomposition of the precursor solution to initiate film growth is strongly dependent of the temperature (13) . Also, excess solvent and by-products escape in the vapor phase (5,12,13) . Since inside the chamber atmosphere there is corrosive agents due to the presence of HCl, NH 3 and other by-products, the use of the ceramic heater employed in the present study is justified.…”

“…Na ausência de eletrólito as partículas coloidais apresentam elevada densidade de cargas superficiais que impedem a agregação por repulsão eletrostática. Em meio ácido, obtem-se preferencialmente géis poliméricos, enquanto que em condições alcalinas é possível preparar géis particulados (coloidais) ou físicos a partir do ajuste da força iônica [3].…”
