Abstract: OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy of infra-inguinal, primary angioplasty as a method of limb salvage in patients with trophic lesions secondary to critical ischemia. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Thirty-six patients submitted to primary percutaneous transluminal angioplasty without stenting were evaluated.
