Abstract: RESUMO -O Brasil é o maior produtor e consumidor de palmito do mundo. Show more

“…Alternatively, an evaluation of genotypes at measurements 3 and 4 would promote a predictability of 82.76%, associated with an r of 0.6915 (Table S2). These estimates are higher than the established reliable limits (r ≥ 0.40, R 2 ≥ 0.75) proposed by Bergo et al (2013) and Oliveira and Moura (2010), respectively. Therefore, it is clear that the increase achieved between the fourth and ninth measurement does not justify the expenditure of time and hand labor.…”

“…The limits r≥0.40 and R²≥0.75 are considered reliable by Bergo et al (2013) and Oliveira and Moura (2010), respectively. As the R² expressed the accuracy in predicting the true value of the individual, reinforcing the hypothesis that six cuts are sufficient to provide high reliability in the prediction of different genotypes behavior.…”
