This study deals with the comprehensibility of information provided on websites of the Federal Government, about programs, projects and other activities, aiming at the well fare of the Brazilian society. This paper furthermore examines whether the existing information, as provided on the websites of the Ministry of Planning, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Social Development, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health, referring to programs and actions undertaken by the Federal Government, are understandable for ordinary citizens who, through the internet, have access to the programs, so that they know how programs are structured, how long they will run for, and what the financial resources are that will be to be allocated, providing benefits for society. This paper proposes a methodology of informational parameters that need to be observed in order to collect information that can contribute to the understanding of the meaning of information and data available on the various websites. The research is descriptive for this specific research and the sites that were chosen are to provide appropriate data collection from the above mentioned institutions. As a result hereby and through this study, a methodology is presented to structure the data collection aimed at the production of intelligible information for Brazilian citizen programs, projects and actions that are undertaken for the common-good of the Brazilian society.
