Abstract:This work continues the redescription of Neotropical species described by Mario Bezzi in the family Empididae. Atrichopleura Bezzi belongs to the tribe Hilarini (subfamily Empidinae), a tribe that has been characterized in Sinclair & Cumming (2006) and in a recent contribution (Rafael 2011).
