Abstract

Revisão das espécies neotropicais de Empididae (Diptera) descritas por Mario Bezzi. VI. As espécies descritas Bezzi, 1909 (espécie-tipo) da Bolívia, Mapiri. Cinco espécies neotropicais são redescritas e uma nova sinonímia é proposta: Porphyrochroa argyrina (Bezzi, 1909), lectótipo (aqui designado); P. galactodes (Bezzi, 1909); P. micrargyra (Bezzi, 1909), lectótipo (aqui designado), sinônimo sênior de P. monstrosa (Bezzi, 1909) syn. nov.; P. penicillata (Bezzi, 1909) e P. perpulchra (Bezzi, 1909), lectótipo (aqui designado).PALAVRAS-CHAVE. Porphyrochroa; região neotropical; taxonomia.

A new Asio–Nearctic subgenus of Rhamphomyia (Diptera: Empididae: Empidinae)

Rafael's (2010) comparisons of the genera within the whole range of morphological divergence of Rhamphomyia were insufficiently complete to establish them as genera.…”
