A new genus and nine new species of Neotropical spittlebugs (Hemiptera, Cercopidae, Tomaspidinae)

Abstract: RESUMO. Um gênero novo e nove espécies novas de cigarrinhas Neotropicais (Hemiptera, Cercopidae, Tomaspidinae). Os seguintes novos táxons de Cercopidae sul-americanos são descritos: Ferorhinella gen. nov., com a espécie-tipo Sphenorhina brevis Walker, 1851; Deois (Deois) knighti sp. nov.
