There is no way to separate life and work, as we move about a third of the day in our jobs. Thus, we can observe the action of working in our quality of life, and the relationship between quality of life and quality of life at work, which build another. This study aims to determine the factors determining the quality of life in the work of nursing in the Emergency Unit in order to assist these professionals in solving the social and administrative problems faced in the workplace. This is a literature search, conducted through a qualitative approach, and by examination of the scientific literature, survey and analysis of what is already produced on the subject, demonstrates that achieving personal / professional, structure and organizational climate and relationships human work, are elements that once recognized its importance, provide subsidies for the development of a more humane work of nursing and pay a healthy work environment and consequently the quality of and at work. Hopefully, with this study, contribute to the discussion on the need for a quality of life at work to achieve the quality of care.
