Abstract: Leishmaniasis are worldwide spread syndromes affecting approximately 12 million people in at least 88 countries. Among several distinct clinical manifestations, diffuse cutaneous leishmaniasis (DCL) is of pivotal importance due to its frequent unresponsiveness to chemotherapy.
