Abstract:Within the possibilities offered by an emergency laboratory in Aracati, Ceará State, we studied the resistance of the eggs of Anopheles gambiae, maintained out of water under different conditions of temperature and humidity. The resistance observed was insufficient to justify special mosquito-control measures. The same results were obtained with larvae and pupae at low temperature.
