Abstract: ABSTRACT. The larva of Orthemis schmidti Buchholz, 1950 is described and illustrated for the first time based on one specimen from the northeastern region Brazil. Diagnostic characters which separate this larva from known larvae of other congeners are mentioned, and some notes on the habitat of the species are presented.
