Reconhecimento mundial aos Arquivos

Abstract

I cannot help bringing up again, in this message, the Congress of the American College of Cardiology. I refer, more specifically, to the I Meeting of Editors of Ibero-American Cardiovascular Journals, promoted by the Revista Española de Cardiología (Spanish Journal of Cardiology) during the event. The meeting can be considered a historical accomplishment for the Brazilian Archives of Cardiology, as it unquestionably reaffirms the integration of the journal to an international forum of scientific discussion. Even further: it reaffirms the magnitude and the importance the journal is attaining outside the country, similarly to our Brazilian Society of Cardiology. It is also important to mention the continuous nature of this exchange. The meeting of Ibero-American editors must take place annually, naturally with the presence of the Archives-it is worth mentioning, the only Latin American journal acknowledged by the Thomson Scientific system (formerly, ISI) present at the meeting that joined professionals from 17 publications.
