Hematoma da aorta ascendente

Abstract: It is reported the case of a 71 year old male patient admitted to the emergency service pale and with systemic arterial hypertension and thoracic pain. In the diagnostic investigation, there was no evidence of compatible with acute myocardial ischemia. The thorax x-ray showed important enlargement of the mediastinum. In the echocardiogram the ascending aorta measured 47 mm, at the level of the pulmonary artery.
