Abstract:Decompensated congestive heart failure (CHF) is a clinical syndrome often characterized by elevated left ventricular fi lling pressures (LVEDP). Therapy for decompensated CHF aims at normalizing fi lling pressures and thereby improves both symptoms and outcomes.
