“…Os mecanismos pelos quais o treinamento físico diminui o duplo produto parecem ocorrer devido ao aumento do fluxo sanguíneo periférico e uma tendência de diminuição da resistência vascular, que acarreta uma diminuição da frequência cardíaca, sem aumento da pressão arterial durante o exercício 28 . Verificou-se também uma redução significativa do DP, em idosas após 12 semanas de treinamento resistido 27 .…”

“…It is now well established that physical training is directly related to the functional improvement of quantitative physical capacity, such as in VO 2peak , in endothelial function and consequently in the quality of life of patients with HF 11, [50][51][52] . Other variables associated with a worse prognosis, such as an improvement in sympathetic and neuro-hormonal activity and peripheral hypoxia, have also been reported as being positively modulated by physical training 53 .…”

“…Other variables associated with a worse prognosis, such as an improvement in sympathetic and neuro-hormonal activity and peripheral hypoxia, have also been reported as being positively modulated by physical training 53 . Another aspect to highlight is its direct effect on the reduction in submaximal heart rate (during exercise) and at rest 50 . Consequently, physical training has been recommended by medical guidelines 1,18 as a component in therapeutic rehabilitation programs for patients with controlled HF.…”

“…Recently, in numerous publications, it has been suggested that the application of physical training in the rehabilitation of patients with CHF and COPD is safe and beneficial, with increased physical endurance, as well increased oxygen consumption at the peak of physical exertion, among the main benefits [1,2]. Physical training also increases the effects of ventilation.…”
