“…Infection of T. orientalis has been reported in Armenia, China, Japan and Korea (John & Petri, 2006). Species such as T. axei , Trichostrongylus capricola , T. colubriformis , T. orientalis , Trichostrongylus probolurus , Trichostrongylus skrjabin and T. vitrinus have been found associated with infections in humans with T. axei , T. colubriformis and T. orientalis being the most common species which infect humans, mostly obtained via close contact with livestock (Ghadirian & Arfaa, 1975; Millington et al , 1989; John & Petri, 2006; Ralph et al , 2006; Yong et al , 2007).
