Abstract: Introduction and Objectives: Paracoccidioides brasiliensis is a thermodimorphic fungus and is the ethiologic agent of Paracoccidioidomicose. This dimorphic fungus undergoes a complex differentiation in vivo and is responsible for one of the most prevalent mycosis in Latin America.
