Tendência da mortalidade por doenças respiratórias em idosos do Estado de São Paulo, 1980 a 1998

Abstract: INTRODUÇÃO: A maior expectativa de vida no País e a queda da mortalidade trazem desafios aos programas sociais de atenção ao idoso, em especial na área na saúde. O objetivo do estudo foi analisar a tendência da mortalidade por doenças do trato respiratório em idosos. MÉTODOS: O estudo foi realizado com dados de mortalidade em idosos no Estado de São Paulo, no período de 1980 a 1998.
