Soroprevalência de anticorpos antivírus da hepatite C em doadores de sangue, Brasil

Abstract: OBJETIVOS: Determinar a soroprevalência de anticorpos antivírus da hepatite C (VHC) em doadores de sangue e correlacionar os resultados obtidos nos testes sorológicos de triagem e no teste confirmatório. MÉTODOS: Foram analisados os registros epidemiológicos e laboratoriais de 10.090 doadores de sangue do Hemonúcleo de Apucarana, Paraná, Brasil, do período de janeiro de 1997 a dezembro de 1999.
