“…Furthermore, it is necessary to pay attention to the question of the sick building syndrome (SBS), whose concept arises from the twentieth century when, in order to avoid the penetration of external pollution and to enable internal environmental conditioning, the architectural standards were changed to hermetically closed buildings, which constitute an atmosphere hostile to human health, as shown by research conducted by the World Health Organization -WHO (STERLING; COLLET; RUMEL, 1991).
