Estudo sorológico de infecções ocasionadas por citomegalovírus

Abstract: Estudou-se a distribuição etária e por sexo de anticorpos fixadores do complemento para citomegalovírus em 1294 soros de indivíduos do município de São Paulo. A uma porcentagem de positividade de 33%, nos primeiros quinze anos de vida, seguiu-se, após uma queda inicial no nível de anticorpos, um aumento progressivo até níveis de ordem de 70%.
