Neutrophil-Lymphocyte Ratio Predicts Short-Term Mortality in Patients Hospitalized for Acute Decompensation of Cirrhosis

Abstract: BACKGROUND: Individuals with cirrhosis have a chronic systemic inflammation associated with an immune dysfunction, affecting the progression of the liver disease.
